Simple, 5 Ingredient Chocolate Syrup

Oh my goodness!  This chocolate syrup is amazing!!

The best part is, it's REAL chocolate syrup. I read the label on the choco syrup from the store... um, eew...

Now you don't have to say "NO" to your kids all the time.

Wait.. who are we kidding? Now you don't have to say "NO" to yourself all the time.

We all need that chocolate "fix" once-n-awhile.  And this is so much healthier than most chocolate snacks.

Add this syrup to your raw milk for thick delicious chocolate milk.  Our kids claim it's like a milkshake.

You can use it as a fruit dip (chocolate-covered strawberries anyone?) to be healthy, or top your ice cream to be not so healthy (well, use this recipe to still keep it healthy ;)

This recipe is SO easy & only 5 simple ingredients.

It does contain sugar. I have not tried any substitutes, but you can totally play around with it to suit your family, honey, maple syrup...

Maple Sugar would be a perfect sugar substitute.

Simple 5 ingredient chocolate syrup

  • 1 cup baking cocoa

  • 2 cups raw cane sugar

  • 2 pinches of salt

  • 1 cup of water

  • 2 tsp vanilla

  1. Combine the first 3 ingredients in a saucepan.

  2. Add water & stir.

  3. Bring to a boil on med/low heat stirring frequently.

  4. Boil for about 1 minute. Remove from heat & add vanilla.

  5. Cool slightly before pouring into a glass jar.

  6. Store in fridge.

A little goes a long way in milk, start with a small amount and add more if you're craving more chocolatey milk.

Email or call for raw milk to go perfectly with your homemade chocolate syrup.
